Taking inspiration from illegal distilleries, the talented and up-and-coming Eindhoven collective Studio Beun will transform Salon Veneman into a distillery and speakeasy bar. The focus will be on the installation's aesthetics (kettles, barrels and pipes), brewing with local products and afterwards creating a social space for the city.

Studio Beun upcycles materials such as foam, steel, wood, old furniture and other discarded items, as long as they are free or cheap. The studio embodies a pragmatic, accessible, messy, and cozy aesthetic, while simultaneously being avant-garde and unifying.
